Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne Feast Day Mass, at the Old Saint Ferdinand Shrine

CO-PATRONESS of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne was raised to the altars of the Universal Church in 1988, due to her great holiness of life while she was a missionary in this area.



In 1819, Mother Duchesne supervised the construction of this convent where she lived. This is attached to the old Saint Ferdinand Church, which will be holding a Mass in her honor on Thursday, November 18^th, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
