A cold winter night scene at my favorite nature park, Forest 44 Conservation area. Parking area lighting illumines the prairie in the foreground. It was a beautifully clear night, and you can see some star trails in the sky.
However much I wanted to take more pictures that evening, 10 degree Fahrenheit temperatures led me to quickly retreat back into my warm vehicle.
