Our Lady of the Assumption is an alabaster statue made in Florence, Italy, and is part of the collection of the Marianum in Rome, on loan to the Cathedral of Saint Peter of the Diocese of Belleville, Illinois. Photo taken today, on the Feast of the Assumption, on the occasion of the cathedral's summer festival.
