On the Jewish Feast of Pentecost, Mary and the Apostles are filled with the Holy Spirit in the form of tongues of fire. Babel is beginning to be undone.
Mosaic, in the west transept of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. The mosaics here are the newest in the Cathedral, having been completed in 1988, and are in a modern style compared to the Byzantine and Italian mosaics found elsewhere in the church.
