Mark, a very interesting article, and I am grateful that you brought it to my attention.
The author does make many interesting points in his wide-ranging meditation, and there is much to be learned by any meditator. However, the author also says much that may lead astray a meditator who is not vigilant. The author is an expert at splitting hairs and separating the two parts to extremes. And once he has made these divisions, he uses them to construct erroneous conclusions.
Keeping that in mind, it is growthful to read the piece.
