The Meramec River after sunset, taken from the old Route 66 highway bridge near Eureka, Missouri.
An open field at Forest 44 Conservation area near Valley Park. This was taken about 15 minutes later.
Nearby is this tree, fallen across a creek. Night had fallen, exposure was more than two minutes.
The three bright lights in the sky are the moon and two planets.

ReplyDeleteMark, sometime why the opportunity arises consider getting some pictures of Sacred Heart in Ozora Missouri( Ste Genevieve County) the exterior appears unique for the area
ReplyDeleteMark sorry to pester but as I was researching Ozora I found 6 Catholic Churches in the Ste Genevieve County vicinity that you may have not photographed. Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten. Sarcred Heart in Ozora, Saint Agnes in Bloomsdale, Ste Catherine of Alexander in Coffman, Saint James in Crosstown and Saints Philip and James in River aux Vases

ReplyDeleteThe area has a number of areas of natural, and in particular, geological items of interest, as well as many historical buildings of the colonial period.
