Michael and Mark please don't take this personally but when I first saw that picture earlier today I thought to myself....why did Mark include a photo of a "baptist" church on his webpage....it is the most un catholic looking church I have seen on this website! forgive me
Hehehehehe. You are forgiven! True, Colonial Revival is a most unusual style for a Catholic church.
It is a nicely made, quality church, and I like to show a little variety here. Also, it is a consecrated, holy place, the dwelling place of Our Lord in the tabernacle, where His sacrifice on Calvary is re-presented on the altar, and where His people come to worship Him.
However, I am all for distinctly Catholic, symbolic, catechetical, and traditional architecture.
where two or more of us gather in his name! Again I did not mean to offend and sense that I have not in fact. The beauty of the Churches of the St. Louis Archdiocese is remarkable and I appreciate your photos Mark. I have the Zell landscape photo as the desktop on this computer! I would love to see you include the church at St.Genevieve and St. Marys Missouri also.... Mark now from Indiana but always from Missouri in my heart!!
That's my parish!!!

Oh, and I thought that it was a fairly good photograph, too. But that is my pride showing!
