Photo of Passionists Emblem
The emblem of the Passionists. Jesu ΧΡΙ Passio is Latin and Greek for "The Passion of Jesus Christ"; this heart emblem shows the three nails of the Cross at the bottom. 'ΧΡΙ' are the Greek letters chi, rho, and iota, for Christ. I don't know what to call the squiggle over the Greek letters, but it is often seen in iconography.
Photo taken in the chapel of the Passionists Nuns Monastery, in Ellisville, Missouri, after a traditional Latin Mass. Emblem is on the face of the altar.
