HERE ARE PHOTOS of Saint Mary Magdalen Church, in Brentwood, Missouri. The church is located in suburban Saint Louis County, and is about 11 road miles west of downtown Saint Louis.
The parish dates from 1912. This church is a hybrid of Art Deco and Gothic designs.
The church has three aisles and a Gothic-style roof. Note the decoration on the horizontal beams.
The color in these photos looks a bit odd because the lighting fixtures have a mixture of incandescent and fluorescent lamps, giving magenta and green color casts.
A large crucifixion painting over the altar.
The sanctuary has square sides, rather than the more typical rounded apse.
Close-up of the communion rail.
The tabernacle.
A door to the sacristy to the left of the altar.
Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
