Corpus Christi

Prostrate I adore Thee, Deity unseen,
Who Thy glory hidest 'neath these shadows mean;
Lo, to Thee surrendered, my whole heart is bowed,
Tranced as it beholds Thee, shrined within the cloud.

TODAY IS THE FEAST OF Corpus Christi (the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ), although it is transferred to this coming Sunday in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis.

Notable Corpus Christi processions here include:

• Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, 5:00 p.m.: Mass and procession; Archbishop Burke celebrant.
• Saint Francis de Sales Oratory, using the Classical Roman Rite: 10:00 a.m. Solemn High Mass with Corpus Christi Procession and Benediction.
