I remember it well. I used to serve Mass there, 6:00 am, weekdays before school. It was quite a thrill for a young kid to be riding his bike through the neighborhood before daylight on a secret mission. The nuns were always grateful and served us breakfast.
When I was growing up in Spanish Lake these Sisters had a beautiful retirement home on the bluff overlooking Columbia Bottoms and the Mississippi River. It was called Villa Gesu and as a child it always seemed like a mysterious place that we were not allowed to visit. Sadly it is now been sold some years ago and the little cemetery was removed.
