A History of Saints Mary and Joseph Chapel
Photo taken in June of last year.
See this link: http://www.saintstephenstl.org/ssmj/ssmj.shtml.
The original church was built by the Venerable Felix de Andreis, of the Congregation of the Mission, who is entombed in Perryville, in the far southern part of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis.
The chapel overlooks the Mississippi River in Carondolet, an early French settlement which is now part of the City of Saint Louis. It is administered from Saint Stephen Protomartyr parish.

A good cheer from the Archdiocese of Chicago! St. Louis is looking good. Congrat to B. Burke on his recent Vatican appointment.
ReplyDeleteMay he serve St. Louis well.
JB, Thanks, I love Chicago and have been there many times.
