http://www.catapultkits.comI've always wanted one. How about you? But where would I use it?
I knew of some kids who built a catapult that could shoot oranges half a mile. Every day, at noon, they would catapult an orange into a pond at a neighboring college campus. Crowds would wait every day to watch this mysterious orange fall from the sky.
I WANT ONE TOO!
ReplyDeleteBTW, Mark, have you done anything on St. Francis de Sales? If so, point us to it, and maybe update it. I here that it's suddenly a hopping place.
I am a member of the St. Francis de Sales Oratory, and things are starting to get going there. Repair of the Oratory and rectory were the obvious initial needs, and they are moving along. The most crucial, but expensive need, is the steeple, which is having problems. There is tons of work that needs to be done with the school buildings and so forth, but that will have to wait for the future.
ReplyDeleteThey are starting up a Knights of Columbus chapter, which should really help...the laity isn't yet as organized as some other parishes that I visit, but the Oratory is less than a year old.
If it's photos you're after, Marcus has a lot of them. Check the right-hand column on his home page. He took some great shots in a difficult-to-shoot setting.
