Cannon Stolen!

The beloved Fleming House cannon of my alma mater Caltech was stolen by MIT students. I was one of the kids who dragged this cannon back to Fleming House in 1980.

Fleming House traditionally has the highest concentration of Catholics, evangelicals, and social conservatives on the Caltech campus, and Flems are often derided by other students as being "obnoxious" and "militaristic".

Fleming House is constructed in the California Mission style and is in the form of a cloistered monastery with an enclosed courtyard.
