Here is a photo of
Holy Family Log Church, in
Cahokia, Illinois, about five highway miles south of downtown Saint Louis. It is the oldest continuously operating parish in the United States. It is in the
Diocese of Belleville and is home to the Traditional Latin Mass. This particular church was built in 1799, and has the unusual French colonial vertical log construction that can be seen in several other buildings in the Saint Louis area.
Mass is Sunday at 9:00 am.
